After being in the "wedding industry" for 8 years we've found a few things to be true.
1) Weddings are our absolute favorite event to capture. From the Bride and Groom's first look to their departure the whole day is a whirlwind of happy tears, laughter and all the emotions in between! We love hearing the love stories and being able to capture the raw emotions of the entire day! There has yet to be a wedding where my wife or I haven't cried happy tears for the couple. We absolutely love what we do.
2) When it's all said and done I am kind of the worst when it comes to social media. As in any profession your biggest critic and worst enemy is yourself. This is especially true with a creative profession. Between always upgrading our gear, getting better at capturing the moments and finding better editing software to get the product out faster we find that when it comes to blogging or posting images we fall short. It's not that I don't want to blog, or write about every event we've had and highlight the best moments from each wedding... it's that I thought I had zero time, and that used to be true. I worked in sales about 50 hours a week on top of shooting weddings 1-2 times on the weekends and between it all, there wasn't much down time. But alas, here we are! Weddings and events are now our only focus which allows us to bring forth some blogs of weddings past and future engagements/weddings!
3) Our hope is that you can get to know us, our personality, our story and our love for what we do even before you contact us about your special day! Our goal is to slow down time and make your day as memorable as it can possibly be! Your images and video are meant to last a lifetime and we want to ensure that we give you not only the best quality image but also an experience that you can relive again and again.
